Sweet Chilli Beef recipe

This easy peasy beef steak is a cinch to prepare and tastes utterly delicious. It's full of spice, so it's not for the faint hearted, although you can cut the amount of chilli you use if you don't like things too spicy.


  • 800g beef steak
  • 4 small red chillies
  • 2 small green chillies
  • 6 tbsp. runny clear honey
  • Salt and pepper
  • Oil

Method of Preparation:

  1. Thinly slice the beef steak. Slice the chillies in half and remove the seeds with the back of your knife, then finely dice.

  2. Heat the oil in a frying pan and add the steak. Fry until brown.

  3. Add the honey and the chillies. Fry for 2-3 minutes, stirring all the while, to prevent the honey from burning.

  4. When the beef is sticky, remove from the pan and serve immediately.

Serve with boiled rice or even a veggie stir fry. This recipe serves 4-6.
